FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PASIEN DALAM MENJALANI REHABILITASI PASCA STROKE DI RUANG RAWAT JALAN RSUD PRINGSEWU TAHUN 2025

Background: Non-hemorrhagic stroke or ischemic stroke is a serious condition that
occurs due to blockage of blood flow to the brain. One of the factors that influence the
success of rehabilitation is family support, motivation, sosial support, stroke severity, in
addition to internal and sosial factors, aspects of service accessibility also influence. The
affordability of health services includes the availability of facilities, distance to the place
of service, and the patient's economic ability. The purpose of this study was to determine
the factors that influence patients in undergoing post-stroke rehabilitation in the
Neurology Poly Room of Pringsewu Hospital in 2025.

Research method: Quantitative research type with cross sectional research design. The
population of this study were non-hemorrhagic stroke patients at Pringsewu General
Hospital as many as 114 patients with a sample of 55 respondents using purposive
sampling technique. The research was conducted in July-August 2025 Data collection
using questionnaire sheets. Univariate and bivariate analysis (chi square test).

Research results: Factors that affect the rehabilitation of non-hemorrhagic post-stroke
patients are family support (p-value = 0.001), motivation (p-value = 0.004), and economic
status (p-value = 0.038) while factors that do not affect are sosial support (p-value =
0.636), stroke severity (p-value = 1.000), access affordability (p-value = 0.909), and
health worker services (p-value = 0.065).

Conclusion: There is a relationship between spousal support, motivation, and economic
status with the rehabilitation of non-hemorrhagic stroke patients, while there is no
relationship between sosial support, stroke severity, accessibility, and healthcare services
with the rehabilitation of non-hemorrhagic stroke patients in the Outpatient Department
of Pringsewu Regional General Hospital in 2025. Recommendations for families include
providing motivation and accompanying patients during treatment so that post-stroke
patients can undergo rehabilitation effectively.
